Hello Shark Families,
Now that we are settling in to a new learning schedule, I hope you are feeling like our heads are back above water when it comes to understanding learning platforms, logins, digital assignments, and all the new stuff that comes with this distance learning business. Thank you to those of you who have shared feedback with me and your children’s teachers about what has been supportive, and additional ways we could improve our services. We love to hear your thoughts, and I would direct your attention to Superintendent Woodward’s Distance Learning & Technology Survey to tell us more about your learning needs and other thoughts.
On a personal note, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for your continued partnership with us for the benefit of our children. It is this partnership that allows learning to continue even though school is closed. We appreciate the Midway community!
Social-Emotional Learning Newsletter: Check out Mrs. Brady’s second digital newsletter for supporting the whole child here!
Last Call - Yearbooks: Yearbooks are $20 and can be purchased through this link through May 1st. If you have a financial hardship and would still like a yearbook, please get in touch with Mrs. Brady.
Class Placement: Each spring, our teachers prepare preliminary class lists for the coming school year. The goal is to create balanced classrooms to help all students be successful. These lists are subject to change throughout the summer as new students enroll and current students move. We do not accept specific teacher requests, however, if you would like to provide additional information about the learning environment you find most helpful for your child, we will consider this information during our placement process. To submit this input, please send an email to Mrs. Spinnell.
Check Out a Chromebook: If you still need a chromebook please complete this survey to add your name to our waitlist. For those on the waitlist, our Technology Department will send email notification of upcoming deployment date/time/location. Also, check out these options for internet connectivity: Internet Connectivity Options
