Open House - Tuesday, September 15th

Dear Midway Families:

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! This year we have welcomed 564 smiling faces to a new year - about 20 more kids than last year. Our teachers and staff have been working hard to establish routines and community in the classroom and we are off to a great start. We have been working diligently to hire our remaining teachers and are taking great care to choose just the right people to be part of our community.  All of our kids are settling in and we have had amazing learning taking place since the first day of school!

I want to take this opportunity to welcome our new students and families to the Midway Community. We are glad that you have chosen our school and hope that your experiences here are second to none. Midway Elementary is a world-class school because of our incredible students, parents, staff and community. We are fortunate to be a part of the Mead School District.

Our Open House for grades 1-6 is Tuesday, September 15th. Parents are invited to come during the times shown below and visit your child(ren)'s classroom during the specified time. The format of our Open House is an informational night for parents. It is not really geared toward students. However, if students do need to attend, we ask that they remain with their parents during the evening as not to cause disruptions to other classrooms.  We especially ask that students be accompanied by their parent in the book fair. Thank you for your attention to this important request.

We hope you are able to join us so that you can find out important information from your child's teacher. The success of our children is dependent on the incredible support that parents like you provide. Thank you for partnering with us in this important endeavor.

Open House Schedule:

Grade 1       6:00-6:20
Grade 2       6:25-6:45
Grade 3       6:50-7:10
Grade 4       7:15-7:35
